What a grading. In a grading it is not unknown (but rare) for the person doing the grading to get worked up and injuries may happen. The injury tonight (a bleeding nose) was caused by other dan grades not doing the grading. Well done to John for passing his 3rd kyu. |

Tonight I had a partner (which was fun). After the basics and moving basics, we moved on to Ippon Kumite and looked at different ways of dealing with the attacker. The lesson ended with about half a hour of knife work. |

Tonight Doug was not fit to train but was fit to teach. The dojo had a look at the grading for a 3rd kyu. Doug working well with Jason for most of the lesson. The lesson went well. |

This lesson we took a good look at our katas. People going for their 2nd dan grading at chirstmas now know what work they have to do. A good lesson. |

Tonight is easy to say but hard to do...BAG WORK. We ended the lesson with kata. |
